And these people, having found themselves on the banks of an unknown river, are trying to somehow survive. Therefore, the book captures the reader from the first pages and the tension does not subside until the last page of the story.

The plot of Artem Kamenisty’s book “The Border River” may not be entirely original, but its difference lies in the fact that the author sends not one or two heroes, but thousands of people at once, to an unknown world. But the author chose a special, unusual way to send so many people into the unknown - with the help of a meteorite. As they say, people lived for themselves, did not grieve, minded their own business. And suddenly, unexpectedly, a meteorite falls to Earth. It causes thousands of people to be transported to another world.

The unknown world itself in the book “Border River” is described by the author in a very interesting way. As you delve deeper into the plot, you will learn that in addition to the cannibalistic savages who happily devour earthlings, there is also the mysterious country of Khaitan, which has a slave system, as well as another one that stands at the level of feudalism and is somewhat reminiscent of the times of chivalry on Earth.

Artem Kamenisty in his book “Border River” makes it possible to vividly imagine the situation of people in those conditions, their actions aimed at survival. Life in the new world forces people to unite, build fortifications and constantly fight with enemies. Fortunately for the people, the author of the story provides them with help in the form of a fallen plane and ship. There the heroes find the necessary things and food. Is here and main character, who is a geologist by profession, so soon people will be able to find minerals.

The main character is not a superman with superpowers. He is a simple man who always thinks rationally in any situation, although he is a cynic by nature. Only people like him can survive in this world.
